1981 J10

dscription

Just wrapped up Andy’s 1981 J10. Super cool truck with a fun story. So Andy owned this truck in high school. Built it and wheeled it. He sold the truck to buy his engagement ring for his wife. Years and years went by, he worked on tracking it down and when he had finally given up. Welp… he found it. Some bribery with a DMV person and he soon had his old truck back. It was white and silver, now burgundy with 90’s dodge upholstery and splatter paint dash! (Ahhh the 90’s) He decided to bring the jeep to us. We stripped and painted the truck 2023 Ford two tone (same as his super duty) custom stitched the interior, dash pad, pulled and repainted the dash, headliner, visors, door cards, removed the 13" grant wheel and recovered a Laredo wheel for it, all rubber seals and felts. Polished the front bumper and detailed the frame when the bed was off the truck. Color matched bedliner in the bed and underneath. Painted the roll bar, fixed some wiring gremlins and a clutch. (A previous shop had installed the wrong throwout). This truck is soooo nice to drive. Strait as an arrow, no squeaks or rattles, sounds good, the 4speed is fun to drive and it will happily spin the 35’s. I beleive that there maybe a set of 15x10 alum wheels in its near future..... I hope ) Thanks again Andy. She is a stunner! And an amazing driver! She will look great sitting next to your CJ in the garage and see it all worked out! You still have your wife and your truck! Well done brotha!
