dscription
Occasionally, we build rock crawler rigs, although not the extremely hardcore ones. Recently, we completed Alex’s 79 CJ7. It features a 304 Howell engine, automatic transmission with an Atlas transfer case, reverse 60 F/R axles, 4:56 gears, E lockers, a custom-cut rear axle tube, disc brakes, Gen-Right fenders, rockers, and rear quarters, a rewired system with a switch panel, exhaust, custom headers, lights, wheels, tires, and more. It drives wonderfully (though it still needs a rock ram for steering). The 304 engine propels it—not very fast (lol)—but it gets the job done. It's a cool old Jeep with a blend of new and old elements we added. Thanks again, Alex! I hope you and your family enjoy exploring with it.
