We rapped up James’ 3A this cool little Willy’s came in for some work and James quickly got the bug and we went on to build a cool escape Willy’s for him. It started with a botched clutch job from another shop. We repaired those issues and turned towards making it cool and fun rig for his personality. It was in grey primer and we started sanding it to be painted. I saw the many many layers of paint and said hey… let’s clear it! This is way too cool to cover up. A set of 33” BFG's some Crager wheels that we sand blasted and quick rusted and clear coated. The rusted wheels and tires kinda tied it all together. We added an alum intake valve covers 4BBL to the old Chebby motor. 1 wire, water pump, and a tune. The brakes and clutch got a Wilwood master cylinder, disk brakes and swag lock parking brake, a custom tire carrier made by Verne Simons. James supplied harness, so we built a harness bar, opened up the wheel well to move the seat back, he wanted LOTS of lights so we installed all his LED’s, he wanted race radios, headsets, compressors and all kinds of desert fun stuff. This little Willy’s became a fun project and he does and loves it. Thanks again James! Looking forward to seeing you soon for the winch brush guard remake!
